About Bomba
Bomba is a fishing village on the south-western tip of Batudaka, the largest of the Togean Islands. It is about 40 minutes by boat from Ampana, which makes it the closest stop to the mainland. Bomba Atoll, the largest atoll reef in the Togeans, lies nearby.
Taupan Island, about 15 minutes away by boat, has reefs, bat caves and a small Bajau village. Guided night walks on Batudaka are organised to look for tarsiers and cuscus.
