Planning a Togean trip is mostly a matter of planning around boats. Ferries and transfers don't always run daily, and a missed connection can cost you more than a day, so our itineraries keep spare days wherever a boat might not turn up.
Wahyu's ten-day Togean itinerary is the one to start with. If you're arriving from the north, Tasya's Gorontalo to the Togeans shows how that crossing changes the shape of a trip.
Ten days is enough to see three parts of the Togeans if you stop trying to catch every boat. This is the route I followed in July 2026, with the spare days I would keep and the side trips I would only add with more time.
