Togean Islands National Park

The Togean Islands have been a national park since 2004 and are part of a UNESCO biosphere reserve. They lie within the Coral Triangle, the region with the highest diversity of coral and reef fish species.

Several animals are endemic to the islands, including a tarsier, a babirusa, a monitor lizard and an owl.
